Dr. Haig Baronikian

Dr. Haig Baronikian
has over 20 years of experience in the telecom, e-learning, information
technology, e-health and new media fields. He has held leadership
positions in corporate strategy, R&D, sales engineering, systems
integration, marketing and software development with Bell Canada. He
served as President and COO of Expresto Software, a developer of
multimedia authoring tools for e-learning and other applications. He has
helped create career transition and coaching programs, and has acted as
a mentor.
As Principal and Senior Consultant of Software for
Success, Haig is currently engaged in various e-learning, telecom/IT and
management consulting projects. He is a member of Humber College's
Advisory Board for Telecom Programs and Ad Hoc Advisory Committee for a
new Applied Information Sciences (Software Systems) Degree Program. Haig
is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Architecture,
Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto and has also taught at
Seneca College. Haig holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (usability
and human-computer interaction) from the University of Toronto. He has
also earned Master's Degrees in Education (OISE) and Electrical
Engineering (McGill). He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in
Ontario.
